  • 160g pasta
  • 50ml olive oil
  • Half a head of broccoli
  • 3 pork sausages
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 100ml of boiling water


  1. Following the guidelines on your pasta packet, boil the pasta in a saucepan, Rip the broccoli into smaller pieces and boil in a pan for 2 – 4 minutes. One cooked drain both the pasta and broccoli, put aside for use later, keep the pasta water pan on low simmer heat.
  2. Add a small amount of oil to the frying pan, skin the sausages, breaking it into small pieces before adding to the frying pan, spoon in the mixed garlic to the sausage meat cook the sausages through by continuingly mashing the sausages into a mince like consistency.
  3. Add the pre-cooked broccoli to the pan, a pinch of salt and pepper mixing in. As the mixture runs out of moisture, take some boiling water to the pan, add a little bit of olive oil and continue cooking.
  4. Take the pre-cooked pasta placing it back into the simmering water saucepan for 2 – 3 minutes before draining and adding to the sausage broccoli frying pan.
  5. Plate up and serve, finish with grated parmesan cheese.
