  • 1 tinned pears
  • 1 tinned peaches
  • 60g butter
  • 60g brown sugar
  • 120g all-purpose flour
  • 60g porridge oats
  • double cream


  1. Preheat the oven to 190c / 170c fan or gas mark 5.
  2. In a bowl add together the butter, sugar and flour. Rub the ingredients together between your fingers until the mixture resembles light breadcrumbs. (add in the oats).
  3. Place the mixture into the tray and bake in the oven for 10 – 15 minutes lightly toasted. An extra 5 minutes may be required.
  4. Take the tinned pears and peaches draining the juice, place in a bowl pouring the cream around the fruit if desired and to finish sprinkle with the crumble mixture.
