Now, more than ever before, it is time for us to come together and help Make Caring Visible.

Throughout Carers Week NEWCIS are going above and beyond to ensure the unpaid carers across Wales are not feeling isolated and lonely. Their valiant effort is enhancing their ongoing support channels but also to ensure that these very important people are taking some time for self care and relaxation.
To bring unpaid carers together across Wales, NEWCIS are and have been hosting a number of virtual events to create a sense of community and to ensure individuals do not feel alone.

Across their social media channels, NEWCIS are sharing poems written by unpaid carers in the area, providing the chance to hear other people experiences and relate. They are giving you the chance to get glam with make-up tutorials (because feeling glamourous makes us all feel better. As well as providing the ultimate relaxation with a step by step video on how to make your own scented eye pillow as the eyes are the window to the soul.

Friday 12th June NEWCUS are encouraging everyone to get involved in making Caring Visible by wearing their best purple and green clothing to raise awareness for unpaid carers – ensuring they are made visible this Carers Week! Don’t forget to share your pictures with them by tagging NEWCIS on Facebook – we’ll be getting involved too!

This event is part of their Carers Week calendar so check it out and get involved!
