The Genetic Alliance is a National Charity working to improve the lives of patients and families affected by genetic conditions. Their priorities are ‘high quality services, information and support.’ The GA also supports research and innovation in genetic medicine.
The Genetic Alliance seeks to:
- Raise awareness of genetic conditions and the challenges families face.
- Actively campaign on issues of policy and influence policy makers and care providers
- Provide a united voice for all those affected by genetic conditions and work together for a more positive life experience.
The Genetic Alliance works on a variety of issues such as diagnosis, medical research, access to treatment and education. They also run workshops on relevant topics.
