Are you a parent concerned about your child’s mental health? Perhaps you are unsure where to turn or need someone confidential to speak to?
National charity Young Minds now has a Parent’s Helpline. The services aims to offer advice and support to any parent, who is caring for an individual under the age of 25. You may just have a simple question about your child’s mental health? Or it could be a more serious concern? You may need advice about how to speak to your child’s school or GP? The Parent’s Helpline is here to help and guide you through. Trained advisers, who will listen and offer support and knowledge, run the helpline. It is a confidential and free service.
The helpline operates from 9.30am-4pm Monday- Friday in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
